New brand identity and website design for The Red Box
Andrew and Asma have run two very successful Post Offices in Harrogate for some time. The shops in Bilton and Starbeck both carry wonderful gift items which they wanted to also sell online. It was a step into the unknown and they wanted someone trustworthy and local to help them take that step.
Brand Identity
The shops are called ‘The Red Box’ which is an amusing nod towards the large red postboxes outside. They are well-known and busy locations, but for a new online shop, they would need a new brand that was strong and recognisable.
As with any new logo project, we’ll spend some time producing several initial ideas, exploring different design choices – within the customer’s brief.
Most of the initial designs featured a variation of a ‘box’ and used a strong red (hard not to really!) and on this occasion, we didn’t need to refine or go to a second stage – the design you see on the website was an immediate hit!
Web Design
We produced a clean, no-nonsense design which proudly shows the delightful products available (take a look – we really love the EOR Glas art prints they’ve just added!).
There’s also a page with details for the two Post Offices and how Andrew and Asma got started with the business. Why not take a look at the live site?
